Lakewood Riding Club is a social organization. We have been incorporated with the Secretary of State for more than 60 years as a "501-C-7 non-profit" club.
Lakewood Riding Club carries memberships with the Jefferson County Horse Council (www.Jeffcohorse.com) and the Colorado Horse Council (www.Coloradohorsecouncil.com) to keep our members advised of current horse-related issues.
The objectives of the club are:
~ To promote a greater interest in pleasure horses
~ To promote interest in horsemanship
~ To encourage proper and humane handling and care of pleasure horses
~ To encourage good horsemanship and proper conduct among horsemen and horsewomen
~ To foster good fellowship among persons interested in horses.
Membership shall be open to any person interested in pleasure horses. An approved applicant does not become a member until his or her dues are paid. $25.00 Single Person, $35.00 Traditional family (includes children under 18 if identified on application). Our meetings are the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm in the Green Mountain Conference Room at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds.
